Sharon - great-grandaughter of Francis & Malissa <Also, Germans, seemingly from the Alsace area or nearby, settled in Louisiana starting inthe 1720s, and many of the last names became Gallacized....for example, Zweig became LaBranch; Zeringer became Zerringue, Heidel became Haydel. etc. We've just completed a German-American Cultural Center in Gretna, Louisiana to interpret the German immigrant contribution to Louisiana, and its neat!
