Thank you for the offer to look up info in Washington. If you happen to see anything on Curley Cornelius Hoffpauir, I would appreciate you letting me know. He was my uncle, and although he lived in New York City, it was my understanding when I was young that he had been in the Justice Department during President FD Roosevelt's administration. He was an attorney and practiced in New York, where he lived until his death. I will be in New York City during Xmas and the New Year's holidays and plan call some of the Hoffpauirs listed in the phone book to inquire as to a LA connection.
