Hi all, We are about to lose two subscribers from the mail list because their mail is being rejected.... perhaps they have a new mail address, in which case they should simply re-subscribe to the mail list. (Any mail-list messages that fail to reach their destination "bounce" back to Rootsweb. After a few bounces, those addresses are automatically unsubscribed.) So if anyone ever finds themselves in a situation where they are not receiving mail list messages, they should either write a note to me, or simply re-subscribe. The Timeline for Thomas is growing, thanks to data from Anna Marie Hayes (Natchez Court House Records). Visit the web page http://web.wt.net/~charlieh/ and click on Timeline for Thomas to view the latest information. I was told by Nelle Mang that Thomas had some business deals recorded in 1781 and 1783 in Louisiana, but I don't have the source information and have never actually seen the records. Does anyone have any further information on these: 1781, St. Landry, business transaction with Alex. de Clouet; 1783, bought land from Josine & Louis Richard in Louisiana. Also, I understand that Thomas made testimony in Opelousas at the Land Office in 1812. Does anyone have information on that? -- Charlie Hoffpauir http://web.wt.net/~charlieh/ http://www.refurl.com/y2k_bug.gif (for a chuckle)
