    3. Archie, I've heard the story since I was a child. I used to think it had to have some truth to it, but after searching for anything at all to confirm any part of it, and not finding any evidence, I now believe that it is either completely wrong, or it has become so mixed up with other stories that it's impossible to tell what is true and what is fiction. If you study other family histories, it amazing how many of them have a similar story about the family origin. It almost makes me think that all families had three brothers who emigrated to the new world! Several people are now actively trying to find some evidence of where Thomas Hoffpauir came from, and how he got to Louisiana. Perhaps if we ever find that out, it will shed some light on this story. Had a picture of reunion group officer, including our own Felton Morgan (I didn't recognize any other names). The article recounted the "three Hoffpauir brothers arriving on the ship LeBeaumont" story. Has any documentation ever been found to support this story? I have heard it so often and so long, I am almost convinced there must be something to it. > > Archie Hoffpauir -- Charlie Hoffpauir http://web.wt.net/~charlieh/ http://www.refurl.com/y2k_bug.gif (for a chuckle)
