I received an e-mail message from someone a few days ago trying to locate a friend that had moved from California to Louisiana. The reason for posting here is that this friend is a Hoffpauir... his name is Anthony James Hoffpauir (or maybe it's James Anthony Hoffpauir). He is probably in his early 30's, and he was living in Bakersfield CA in 1997-1998. His friend thinks he moved "back" to Crowley, LA, (which to me implies that he was probably born there) to live with his Mother and a sister. This doesn't fit anyone that I have in my database, but I know my data is very sparse on any Hoffpauirs outside of the Louisiana-Texas area, so I though someone on the list might know who this is, and how he fits into the family. I wouldn't want to give the "friend" any information on how to contact him, without first finding out if he WANTS to be contacted, but if anyone knows him, I'd appreciate whatever information you might have. -- Charlie Hoffpauir http://web.wt.net/~charlieh/
