IMPORTANT NOTICE: .... I am contacting you for assistance in locating any descendants of THOMAS HOFFPAUIR who are members of the NATIONAL SOCIETY OF THE DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. A dedication/gravemarking ceremony is scheduled by the Calcasieu Chapter, NSDAR, at the Indian Bayou Methodist Church and Cemetery in Indian Bayou, Louisiana, on LABOR DAY in September 2000. This special commemorative event is planned as part of the Millinneum 2000 celebration, at the annual HOFFPAUIR FAMILY REUNION. Further details to follow. We want to include all NSDAR members who have documented THOMAS HOFFPAUIR, PATRIOT, as their ancestor to take part in this dedication ceremony, and all descendants to plan to be present. NSDAR who are descendants have been identified in Houston, Texas, Lafayette, Lake Charles, and Crowley, Louisiana. We hope there are many more who will contact me!
