Felton, Now that I've combined my "2" Alexandre Hoffpauirs into one, I have another question.... When did his first wife die? I ask because I have Madelaine Stutes death as 1868 (but no source for that) and yet show three children with the last one born AFTER her death (Madelaine Elvina b. abt 1870 per 1870 census). I notice that you also show her death as 1868, yet show Alexandre's second marriage as 1867. Was he a scoundrel <g> or are the date records just mixed up?
