George is the son of James Hardy Hoffpauir b abt 1 Oct 1808 St Landry Parish d 1882 Opelousas, St Landry Parish marr 1827 to Mary Belindus Faulk b 22 Jul 1813 St Martin Parish d 24 Feb 1885 Vermilion Parish. Many think that James Hoffpauir's middle name was Henry (I would like verification of this). It would be nice if someone would mark the unmarked the graves of those known before they are lost as are all my Indian Bayou relatives. I have 17 direct line ancestors known to be buried in the Indian Bayou Cemetary and not one has a marker. No one even knows where they are buried. Felton
