Hi Sharon, There seems to be wrong dates for Nelson's death. Frank died in 1943. and Nelson died quite young: about 41. My Aunt Dixie said he was the first of the family to die and it was right around the time she was born which would be 1922. My grandfather use to talk about how young he was. She told me he had churches all over the place LA, AZ) but wound up in Yucaipa. She was in contact with his son Hamilton for years. He was married twice and his first wife died about 1918. Hamilton is from that marriage. His second wife w Dixie says is still alive, in her 90s. He had children in that marriage also. I tried the SSDI and only found another Nelson born in 1923 and dying in LA. I will keep searching. I wonder that you find nothing in the CA records and I find nothing in the SSDI.
