As a followup to my previous note, I did find an Emily Hoffpauir and a Felicie Hoffpauir in the Social Security Death Index, both last living in Scott. However, Emily died in 1987 and Felicie in 1993, opposite of what should be if Felicie was the first wife, as stated in the obit. Of course, it could just be a mistake in the obit.
