Can we figure out who they all are? >> I sure hope so!! And these are only from 1940 forward. I've requested a lookup for Hoffpauirs in the pre-1940 CADI. It goes back to 1905. There's supposed to be one around here in Kern Co, but so far I've not been able to lay my hands on it. There is also a Marriage index for the years 1949-1959 in book form kept at the state library. I haven't gotten to that either. I actually started out to find a place & dod for Nelson Hoffpauir, eldest son of Frank & Melissa. I have Redlands/Yucaipa area. These two towns are right next to each other in Riverside Co. There is a good volunteer for Riverside Co. and they are a county that allows transcription of DC's. Once I get the dod, I can get a DC transcription & possibly an obit. The SSDI says 1949, but he's not listed in the 1940-1949 CADI. I'm going to be in Redlands in June for a wedding and if I can find out where this elusive man is buried, I can go get a picture of his headstone & perhaps any family members. Sharon
