Amy, That's an interesting possibility. I have information that Nelson F. Hoffpauir died in Yucaipa, CA (Barbara Hill) and that he is buried in Redlands Cemetery, Yucaipa, CA (Felton Morgan) and that he probably died before 11 Aug 1943 (because he is not mentioned as a survivor in his Father's obit)..... but I don't have a date of death for him.
