Alma, I don't know if this is the right E. J. Hoffpauir or not. Here's what I have: Erasco Hoffpauir, b. 27 Jan 1877 . Son of James G. Hoffpauir and Lavinia Sarver. (I'm thinking that even though I have him as the child of Lavinia Sarver, this may have been the stepmother you mention.) I don't have any other information, no brothers or sisters, and no record of where I got the information. Because I don't have a record of it, it may have come from one of the old Hoffpauir family books, perhaps the one by Lamar Boulet, or perhaps the one being updated by Buddy Hoffpauir. Both Lamar and Buddy are subscribers to the list, so maybe if this came from one of them, they will have more information, so you can tell if this is your guy or not.
