    1. [HODGES-L] "Charles Hodge, D.D. (28 December 1797 - 19 June 1878"
    2. Kenneth Hodge
    3. This group's surname was always Hodge except when some biographer spelled it Hodges. I'd like to communicate with any descendants of this line in order to prove (or disprove) a connection to Francis Hodge, b. 1745 in Co. Antrim, Ireland. This is the family line of the Charles Hodge D.D. who told Samuel Hodge D.D (Washington Co., Tn.), according to the "Fain Anderson Letter", that AMBROSE (Samuel's ancestor and a member of the Watauga Assc.) Hodge was "a long lost relative". [ So far, I have found NO primary documented connection.] Some info taken from the Hodge Bible 1.
