The aforesaid Thomas Hodges was led to the Bar in the custody of the Sheriff and waives all advantages of the law ---------- --------- and appointed for his examination being tomorrow and it being demanded of the said Thomas Hodges whether he is guilty of the fact wherewith he stands charged or not guilty, answered that he is not guilty. Whereupon diverse witnesses were produced, sworn and examined in behalf of our Lord the Kingand sd Thomas Hodges was fully heard in his own defense, the Court is of the opinion that he is not guilty of the fact wherewith he is accused and thereupon he is acquitted and discharged.
