I am researching my wife family, and she is related to the Hodges of North Carolina, to Georgia, Dolly County, GA to be exact, the earliest ancestor, that I can prove is John Robert Hodges born in 1798, wife Milly Vann, in the 1850 Censu John birthplace is North Carolina, John had the following children Samuel born 1827, Georgia, William born 1839, John Jr, born 1832, Mary J born 1835, Eliza, born 1838, James born 1841, Nancy born 1845, and Lucy born 1848, her direct ancestor after this Winnie Elizabeth Hodges Born 1850. ied 1926, husband James W. Savage, they all leave Georgia and go into Florida, Orange County, Florida, now my question is that an Henry Hodges Jr born 1750 died 1828 in Washington County, GA, His children, John Hodges , Redding Hodges, Jordon Hodges and an Wiley T. Hodges, His father was Henry Hodges dies 1802 in Beaufort County, NCm son of Richard Hodges, and Sara UNK, is this correct, or is this the decendent Robert Hodges wife Catherine , of Isle of Wright County .
