My uncle and my granfather, both HODGES, apparentely had serious mental problems. My sister and I were shielded from the facts of what was really going on and we probably will never know. Both died in the early 1940's when no one really talked about mental problems. And our family members who did know, wouldn't talk about it to us. I think this is a key part of genealogy...medical facts, both mental and physical.
