Get the book Some Colonial and Revolutionary Families of North Carolina and check page 228. Please let me know what you deciphered from your search. Also, the book, Cotton to Kaolin, a History of Washington County, (in Georgia) has this family on page 431. I need to get Kinfolks by Modena Hodges Peterson which also lists these family members. I am a descendant of Redding Othaniel Augustus Hodges b. 1790 son of (according to family) Henry Hodges, Jr. brother of your William. Please look for my Redding. He hides from 1790 until about 1830.
