Hi Diana, I have some on the Hodges but no more on the Raifords. Have you contacted Bob Peavy? I believe this is his line. Joshua Hodges of the Newbern District later moved to Georgia. See "Roster of Revolutionary Soldiers by Mrs. Howard H. Mc Call page 91 for following: Joshua HODGES, Sr. Born in NC, Oct. 13, 1736; died in Bullock Co., Ga. March 12 ?, 1809. He served in the militia from Martin Co., NC under Capt. Kenneth Mc Kenzie on a tour of duty, 1780; received a land grant in Burke Co., Ga for his service. He married in North Carolina, Ann Raiford. All of their children lived and died in Bulloch County, Ga except daughter Aley, who married and removed to Lowndes Co., Ga. (Also see "Pioneers of Wiregrass Ga Vol. 1" by Folks Huxford, page 60).
