FYI As someone mentioned earlier, many illnesses that are treatable by medication today, were once diagnosed under insanity. If I remember correctly, I read that one of my great great....grandfathers on my mom's side had asthama, but back then severe asthama attacks were also condsidered "fits", by the medical proffession.
