Lynda - I can't help but be curious if your Abel Hodges who m. Charlotte Harrell could be that same Abel Hodges who is in the 1790 Fed. Census of Abbeville Dist., SC? Do you happen to know. Also, would you happen to know more about his son, Abel H. Hodges???? What does the H. stand for? Do you know approximately when & where he was born? You mention that another son had a son named Abel. Did anyone have a son named Isaac?
