My 3rd great grandfather Elijah Hodges was born in franklin County Virginia according to the marriage record of he and my 3rd great grandmother Sabina Vaughan. They were married in Greenbrier County West Virginia. Elijah was born around 1854. His mother is rumored to be Rebecca Jenkins but I have seen no evidence of this. His father is unknown and the story goes that he went off to fight in the civil war and just never came home. are any of these names familiar to anyone.
