Hi Marilyn, I've done quite a bit of research on this Edmond and as yet have not identified his parents. Can you tell me your source for your statement that he was born in 1766 in England? Aaron's wife was Rebecca Caudle Laffoon. She was born April 6,1809 in North Carolina and died May 30, 1891. They are both buried in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Morgan County, Missouri. According to the 1860 MO census, Aaron's father Edmond (age 94) was living with Aaron's brother Abel in Richland Twp, MO. MAHALA3 HODGES (ABEL2, EDMOND1) was born June 07, 1841 in Indiana, and died June 14, 1923 in Hope, Dickinson Co., Kansas.
