Hi Jim, Now I remember your line (must have had one of those "senior moments"). The name of Nancy brought it back. At the end of the RW North and South Carolina was giving bounty land in Tennessee for services. There were many that moved from SC to Tn. during this time and I have record of some Hodge/s from SC who received land in eastern Tn.. I sent a letter to the gentleman who was listed in the "Carter County and it's People" book as a source on the info on Evaline Hodge who married Levi Estep.
