Does anyone have the parents of Seth Hodges b 26 Oct 1788 location unknown. Notice appearing in the Carlinsville, Ill newspaper 6 Aug 1915, tells of Seth T. coming from Tenn. with John Love. He died 18 June 1841 Macoupin County Illinois. He first married Elizabeth Thrasher no dates and had Mary no date and Joseph 1813. He married abt 1827 second Abigail Jefferson. Her grandfather Randolph Jefferson is the brother of President Thomas Jefferson. Abigail and Seth had-- Elizabeth, 22 Mar 1828 Macoupin Co Ill. died 4 Aug 1915 Palmyra, Ill. -- William b 1830 and Finley no birthdate. I am decended from William throught his son Seth. Thanks Marita
