I'm working on this line for my step-sister. The following is relationship: Edmond Hodges: Children: Abel and Aaron (More?) Abel Hodges and wife: Jane Winslow Caudell Children: James, Thomas, Elizabeth, Mahala, Mary, Sarah and Cynthia Eye James Lafoon Hodges and wife Sarah Amenda Falen Children: EmmaLine (Emmaline), Luther, George, Robert, Walter, Mary Ann Mary Ann Hogdes and husband: Rudolph R. Lehmann Children: Alma, Lawrence, Florence, Leona, and James Florence Lehmann and husband: William M. Johnson Children: Marilyn K. and Norma Jane Jane is the one I'm doing the research for. The reason for thinking that Edmond was born in England is: On the back of a picture of Edmond Hodges, the picture is in Janes possession, Jane's Grandmother Mary Ann Hodges Lehmann states that Edmond was born in England. This woman was VERY seldom wrong in her recall of family history. I still treat this fact as a family tradition. Almost all of the information I have is from interviews with Mary Hodges Lehmann and her daughters, Florence (also my step-mother) and Leona. I have been working on my own family history for over 25 years, and just started this as a favor to my sister Jane. Any help would be appreciated.
