I'm posting this again, in the hopes that someone new will see it. I am descended from Sam William Hodges through his son WILLIAM POINTER HODGES born 1875 in Hart Co., Ky. He married Eliza Catherine Shelton in Larue Co., Ky. They moved to Kansas in the early 1900's. I can get no dates or anything else on Sam William. He doesn't seem to have existed!!
