A few questions. 1) The dates on Drury's child how were they arrived at? 2) The place and date of Drury's death. 3) Halifax as a birth place for some of his children. 4) Anderson's marriage is this Drury child? Hodges was born April 7, 1818 in Hopkins County, KY and was taken by his parents in 1822, to Calloway Co, and in 1826 was brought to Graves Co where he has continued to resided to the present time. He is the Son of Drury Hodges, a native of Virginia, who died in Missouri. Drury's wife was Diana, Daughter of George Griffith, of Virginia. He was twice married and his children are Hiram, Miriam (Farmer), George W., James, Irvine, Anderson, Matilda (Swafford), subject(I.e. Martin B. per MDH), Barbara (Arant), Dinah (Davidson), and Mary. .... Bettie Tate was told by Gwen Meadows, Rt. 1, Boaz, Ky. that Drury's 2nd wife Ruth Means was a destitute young woman that he married to give her a home.
