The Isham Hodges in the LDS Records is not the same Isham Hodges you are looking for. That Isham was b. Abt. 1730 in Virginia. Probably Lunenburg Co. and died in Henry County, Virginia, in 1782. This part of Henry County later became Franklin County, VA. This is my line of Hodges. You can see his will on the TnSumner Page for Sumner County Tennessee. Some of his sons went to Tennessee in the very early 1800s.
