My grandfather was Harris Elijah Gore (aka Harry), born July 8, 1918 in Southern Louisiana, we believe in Ascension Parish, died Aug. 29, 1992 in Johnson City, TN. He married Ava Hodges of East Tennessee.Most of his siblings are still living. His parents were James Forest Gore born about March 29, 1893, we believe in Ascension Parish, Louisiana, I don't know death date. He married Mary Eveline Arceneaux? or Arcenueax?. James Forest Gore's parents were James born Jun 1855 and Winnie born Mar 1855. James Forest had a brother named Vincent born Feb 1899 and two sisters named Viola born May 1880 and Lena born Jun 1888.
