    2. Thanks Gerry. I meant to put a litle intro to see if anyone could help Dennis on his Anna Hodges question. Luther H. Hodges was my great-uncle. Most of what you posted is accurate but my great-aunt Beulah used to get furious whenever that line about Luther being the only one to go to college was repeated because she did, too. He ws raised in Leaksville, in Rockingham County, NC, but he was born in Pittsylvania County, Va. near the town of Cascade. My dad was named after him. I will post the information on his brothers and sisters. Meanwhile, if anyone can shed any light on Dennis' Anna Hodges question, I will pass the information on.
