Similar information was found in "Biographical Sketches of Greene and Clark Counties Ohio," "History of Champaign County, Ohio" by Judge Evan P. Middleton and "Springfield, and Clark County, Ohio and Representative Citizens" edited and compiled by Hon. William M. Rockel. I'll have to get the first book author's name Wednesday, when I go the library. But...I thought Andrew was the son of John and Jane Hodge. According to abstract of Samuel Hodge's will, found in Chalkley's Vol. 3, 139, no mention of an Andrew. But in the abstract of John Hodge's will, he mentions a son, Andrew. (Vol. 3, p. 213.) Also, Andrew's wife's name was McIntyre? I'm confused. Kay
