She died August 4, 1735. List. 85.) Hodges, Mary, 42, Wife to Richard, none listed, Dead, apparently still in Georgia 46. ( "In possession of the lot design'd her husband. She marry'd Edwd. Townsend 22 Feb. 1734-5. She was fyned (sic) 20 shill. for retailing liquors without lycence 2 Oct. 1784, a vile foul mouthed Malecontent, & fled the colony 21 July 1740 with her young daughter." She ran away July 29, 1740, to Carolina and there died. List. 85.) Second source gives her age as 46. Hodges, Mary, 18, Daughter to Richard, none listed, Dead, March 24, 1738 47. ( Nothing in this record about her.) Hodges, Richard, 50, Basketmaker, Bailiff, Dead, July 20, 1735 45. ( "He was 2d Bailif of Savannah: and succeeded by Tho. Causton 16 Oct. 1734." He received Lot 17 in Savannah, He died July 20, 1733. List 85.) Hodges, Sarah, 5, Daughter to Richard, none listed, Apparently still in Georgia49. ( She ran away July 29, 1740. List 85.)
