Henry married Esther Gallop, b 21 July 1653 to Capt. John Gallop and Hannah Lake. They were married 17 December 1674. They had 11 children: Mary, Esther, William, Charity, Henry, Benjamin who died at sea, Joseph a major in the army, John, Ephraim, Elizabeth and Abigail. My mother is nearly 93 years old but she remembers so much when she was a young lady and when she got married. Her short term memory is not good. The Hodges came from Bristol and Tauntan England and settled in Massachuetts and co owner of the Tauntan Iron Works. Have you seen the book by Almond D. Hodges? Hope this is of some help.
