Gerry, I do keep hearing about this John Hodges, but can not connect him to the John Hodges that I am hutting. Do you happen to know any thing else about the children of the son of the Col. Hodges, by the name of John Hodges born in VA.? My GG Grandfather, Leroy H. Hodges born in 1806 in Laurens Co., SC, did move from Laurens Co., into Abbeville , the Old 96th Dist., SC , Leroy stayed and moved into Jefferson Co., Alabama by the 1850's.
