Stephanie McPherson married Joseph Grohol Jr Donnie Lee Hodges married Walter McPherson Clifford Hodges married Allie Hersey Joshua (Sometimes also named John) Hodges married Courtney Victoria Crews (daughter of Archibald Graham and Honor C. Bradley Crews) Willis Aaron Hodges married Mahalia Johns and after she died he married Basheba Heath Gainey. All in all, Willis had 17 children. William Henry Hodges (1770-1849) married Ann Blitch and then after she died he married Hannah Colson. He had all together 10 children(6 with Ann and 4 with Hannah) This is where it gets a bit confusing....no one really knows who William's parents are..some say it is John Robert and Tabitha Little(Which is what I now believe) or John and Polly Smith. John's parents were Richard and Sarah Hodges. So that is what I have....what I have is that my Hodges line originated from Lenoir Co, NC and moved to GA..settling Lowndes Co, and later some stayed and the rest eventually moved to Tattnall County, GA. By the time Joshua was born, he was born in Charlton County, GA before eventually moving to Baker County, FL. I do have a Newton...her name was Sarah Ann Newton and she married James Hodges who was the son of John Robert Hodges Jr and Tabby. So that is what I have.... Stephanie
