I am seeking any additionial information on James Hodges(1800-1884) (who was the son of William Henry Hodges and Ann Blitch) and his wife Ann Butler McCall and their children.....they were born in Bulloch Co., GA, but they both died in Hamilton Co., Fl....Ann was born 1801-1887. Their Children were: Mary Ann, Samuel, Penelope, Sarah and Robert. I wish to have more information on this family....if there is actual birth dates and death dates or marriages info....anything would be a great help.... What info I do have doesn't have much on them and I am hoping for more info....so appreciate any help in this....James and Ann got married in 1830 in Lowndes Co., GA..... Stephanie Grohol

I have some information on this family as Follows: ( This all the information I have- I am not sure how correct it is) James A Hodges born Nov 2 1799 in Bullock Co, Ga dd 1884 in Hamilton County, Fl His Father was William Henry Hodges (1770-1849) his mother Ann' Min" Blitch (1780-1815) James Married Ann Butler McCall born Nov 11 1801 in Bulloch County, Ga dd Jul 291887 in Hamilton Co, Fl Her father is Robert McCall and her mother Mary Lanier James and Ann had 5 children 1. Mary Ann Hodges born abt 1826 in Lowndes CO, Ga she married Jeremiah B Smith 2. Samuel Hodges born 1831 in Lowndes Co, Ga married Carey (Unknown last name) 3. Penelope Hodges born 1832 Lowndes Co, Ga 4. Sarah Saleta Hodges born 1839 Lowndes co , Ga dd 1914 in Jennings, Hamilton co, Fl she marred Jeremiah Burkett Smith Sr 5. Robert C Hodges born 1842 Lowndes co , Ga dd aug 7 1919 Hamilton co, Fl He is buried in Sassers Landing Cemetery, Hamilton Co , Fl he first married Addie Butler born Jan 1862 and second Ava ( unknown last name) child 1- Mary and Jeremiah B Smith had 11 children 1.
