Hi Charles, I've never seen a connection to the line you mention although some of the associated names are the same. The Welcome William in Goochland could have been a brother or cousin to James as they were close in age. I've traced most of these WW's in Va., NC, SC, and Tn. and have only proved a couple were connected. My ancestor Ambrose Hodge/s was also associated with these near Bradley Creek in 1759 but I haven't found a connection. The following are the ones you mention. 1. John Echols (b. in England) m.
