Couldn't find a group sheet for this particular group but there was a James W. Hodges who married an Elizabeth J. Butler in Hart Co. in 1876. She was the d/o James Alexander Butler and Mary Ann Wells. James W. Hodges was the s/o Sydnor and Kitty Ann (Watkins) Hodges b. 6/6/1822 in Hart Co.. Sydnor was the s/o Miles b. 1787 in Halifax Va. who was the s/o Thomas and Susannah (Bomar) Hodges. I don't see any connection to the Surry Co. Hodges.
