I am trying to figure connection to James TROWELL, born in NC 1735, moved to Effingham and had two sons...#1.Joseph TROWELL, born 1771, died 1843 in Barnwell district SC....#2.Jonathan TROWELL born St matthew's parish, Effingham 1763, no death date known...or I know #1 Joseph left for SC...but wondered about #2 Jonathan... were there other TROWELLS in St matthews parish or Effingham....or was James TROWELL b 1735 in NC, the first in area?...Did his son #2 Jonathan stay in area and have children?...Did one of Joseph's sons( he had 18 kids total, that scamp!!!) return from Barnwell district to set up Family in Effinham.
