    3. Kenneth Have you definitely connected Thomas Hodges of Hodges Gap to the Welsh brothers? I thought I recalled a post a few months ago from someone tracing him to Augusta County, Va. I know those facts are not mutually exclusive. The Watauga history says that he was a Tory. The Holtzclaws are a Germanna family. I will post the Watauga Holtzclaws if anyone thinks it will help them with the Hodges.
