I am looking for information on the following family. J J Hodges (could be Jasper Jefferson) In the 1870 census I found him living in Fort Lewis, Sebastian, CO....... AR. With him was listed a D. E. Donahue. I do not know who this person. J. J. Hodges was married to an Elzada Loucinda Earls. I have a picture of her taken most likely in the mid-1920's. She is standing in a garden and my father and brother are in the picture. The picture is marked Des Arc, AR. They had one child that I know of. William J. Hodges, b. October 1873 in Mississippi. He was married to Irene Letitia Horne. No date. They had three children. Gladys Hodges Aileen Hodges, She was born in AR. In the 1900 census of Little Rock, AR. she is shown as 5 years old. Maurice Robert Hodges, Was shown as 2 years old. Maurice Robert Hodges later changed his name to Robert Maurice Hodges. He also changed his date of birth, I believe so he could enter the Army for WW1. There was much controversy about his birth year but the 1900 census showed him as 2 years of age, so I must think he was born in 1898 and not the 1896 that I was always told. There was also a Finn Horne listed as living with them in the 1990 census. I do not know this person. Irene Letitia Horn In 1918 lived at the following address. 618 Beech Street Texarkana, AR. There is some discretion about the age of William J. Hodges also. Maurice Robert/Robert Maurice Hodges was my father. b. November 10, 1898, I believe in Des Arc, AR. m. Mary Helen Booth, February 7, 1920, Had two children, Robert M. and Marisue; d. May 2, 1950. I have a few other details about the Hodges family but not much. If any one out there makes a connection I would love to hear from them as I know very little about my fathers family. My mother and father divorced in 1939. I was 7-8 years of age. Thank you.
