    3. kEN & SUE; I have a Charles Hodges b. 18 Jul 1797 and m. 27 Jan 1816 in MS Territory to Mary "Polly" Milhous who was born about 1794 in Camden Dist., SC. There children were: James Ansel Hodges b. 19 Nov 1816 in AL m. 12 Jul 1868 in MS d. 24 Jul 1898 in Indian Territory spouses: Anna Spencer Rutledge, Elizabeth Evaline Jackson, Louisa Ann elizabeth Mason Elzira Hodges b. 1818 Ann K. Jan 1863 spouse: Georgia Ann Lessel I believe that I got this from a County History of Itawamba Co. MS. Rev. Charles Hodges was ordained in the Primitive Baptist Church of Alabama 21 June 1831. He was a member of the organizing presbytery of the Enon Primitive Baptist Church Itawamba Co. MS 1835. Charles and Mary "Polly" Milhous were the parents of three sons and five daughters. Rev. Hodges died 22 June 1856 and is buried in Bourland Cemetery in Itawamba Co., MS. Mary was living with daughter Elizabeth in 1860. She is probably buried in Bourland cemetery; however, there is no marker. The narrator of the Dallas genealogy radio talk show, Michael Matthews, studies the Bourland family and their is a Bourland family association. I am certain that they have some good information on some of this family line; however, I have not yet had time to check on that source.
