Hello Hodges family, I am wondering if anyone is familiar with a lady named Linda Olds. Is she on this list or does anyone know how to get ahold of her. She did alot of research on the Hodges of Franklin county. Thanks, Katie

Dear Katie, Perhaps someone in the genealogical society of Franklin County, Virginia might know something about her. When I first started looking for my grandfather Hodges' family my search led me to the Franklin County website on the internet and it gave me an e-mail address for Beverly someone who said their genealogical group puts out a newsletter periodically which tells who is researching what, and she sent me a sample copy. I did not subscribe because shortly after I learned that my Hodges' branch had migrated to Tennessee early in the 1800's and I did not feel I would learn much more from Franklin County about the later migrations of my family, but perhaps that connection might lead you to Linda Olds. Thinking back, I sort of recall that during my searching I saw the name of Linda Olds as a researcher, and that she is from Utah or some other place in the west. I also remember seeing at the time there was someone named Katherine whose father had done a lot of research on the Franklin County Hodges, and she offered to share the information. Like many others I asked to be on her list to receive the information, but never heard another word about it. I thought perhaps the enormous response to her generous offer had overwhelmed her or perhaps she had decided to get her information into book form and publish it. Good Luck!
