I'm looking for any information concerning William and Elizabeth Hodge. William was born in Grainger Co., Tn. in 1831, moved to Roane Co., Tn. ca 1845 where he married Elizabeth King (widow) in 1849. In 1859 he moved to Carroll Co., Ar. with Elizabeth and their children (Elizabeth's older children had married and stayed behind). They were not listed in the 1870 Ar. census and family story is that they went on to Texas, maybe Mineral Wells. William's brother, Bartholomew lived in Carroll Co., Ar. at that time and William may have only stopped for a short while. 1850 Morgan Co., Tn.
