BEATRICE HODGES COALGATE - Services for Beatrice Billie Hodges , 83, Coalgate, are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Coalgate First United Methodist Church, the Rev. Bob Kanary officiating. Burial follows at Coalgate Cemetery. Mrs. Hodges died Aug. 5, 2001, at a Coalgate hospital. She was born Jan. 10, 1918, at Coalgate, to William "Bill" Jones and Gertrude Carter Jones. She worked in the school lunch room and for the Dairy Dream 30 years. She was a Methodist. She married David Hodges in March 1935, at Kansas. He and a daughter, Billie Dell Barnett, preceded her in death. Survivors include a sister, Mardell Sampley, Coalgate; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Bearers include John Richard Vietta, Nicky Lolli, Red Tarron, Clay Mowdy, Verdel. Steve Sandmann, Floyd Gibson, and Tony Corsini. Honorary bearers are Ernest Hofmann, Kenneth McEntire, George Charon, L.T. West, and Louis Sandmann. Epperson Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
