My line goes as follows: 1)Abner Hodges and Sarah Agnes BROCK 2)John Hodges and Susan Hollingsworth 3)William Carroll HODGES and Stacy EARL(E)S 4)Dr. Zachariah T HODGE MD and(1)Lavinia SPARKMAN 5)Bessie Mae Hodge and George W. WADE 6)Julia C. WADE and John Burgess HAYDON 7)George Douglas HAYDON and Linda Marie WEED 8)Jason Douglas HAYDON b. Mar 7, 1979 What I am wanting to know is who was Abner's father, Isaiah HODGES and Mary EWELLS or was it Josiah and Mary EWELL's and what proof is there. My Grandmother's sister, Margaret (WADE) WHITTEN workes on this side of the family for abt 15 years, and was not able to find Abner's father. I would like to be able to present to her this information. I have information I can share if anyone wants. Josiah Hodges, but I would be surprised if his wife was Mary Ewell. Josiah Hodges was from Franklin County, Virginia, and the Josiah Hodges that married Mary Ewell was from Norfolk County, Virginia. To my knowledge, there is no known connection between the teo families. I have posted the evidence on Josiah Hodges here before and will copy it from the archives. I would be interested in more information on your line because I am compiling a list of descendants of the Franklin County Hodges. Hi Bob, I was wondering how much of my line you would need. All of my genealogy was in an old computer, and the disk drives on it have stopped working, so I can't download the information on to disk. This is not a problem, I have no objections to retyping the information for you, just want to know how far I should go back.
