While reading a book called Marriage and Death Notices From the South Western Baptist Newspaper, I came across a great obit on Mahala Hodges, the wife of Thompson Hodges. She died in Benton County, AL on 10-23-1856. If there are any of her descendants on this list, please contact me. I will be glad to send you a scanned copy of the obituary.
