REX, I am very interested in this Hodges family, especially since my research seems to be taking me back to Kentucky. However, at the moment, I am more interested in the Roland and Easter names you mentioned at the end of this census listing. Are you suggesting that Roland and Easter are also names of the children of this James Hodges????? My main reason for writing is that my William D. Hodges, (born 1847--IA or IL, and the son of John S. Hodges,) married an Eliza Jane Easter (born 1854 in IN). She was the daughter of Joseph EASTER and Nancy ROLAND/ROWLAND. It was just such a coincidence to see the names Easter and Roland with the Hodges name, that I wanted to do a double-check on your meaning. I am looking forward to hearing your response!
