(This James Hodges m. Martha (Patty) Echols. Comment by a Hodges researcher: This is the first official record giving children of James Hodges other than Jesse who m. Elizabeth Collins). A paper written by Milner Echols, 1850 "A Short History of Our Family", mentioned as a comment after this court record. Personally I don't know anything about this paper. The Hodges researcher I have contacted who sent it to me was a descendant of Jesse Hodges. Her name is Edith Bolin, 316 S. Prarie, Pilot Point, Tx 76258
